Saturday 7th 2008

"Champions aren't made in the gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them -- a desire, a dream, a vision."
-- Muhammad Ali

Muhammad Ali is remembered as one of the greatest sportsman in the world. A true champion that defied all odds to win back the world heavy weight championship after many years away from the ring. You might be asking yourself "What the HELL has this to do with Saturday??".

Remember Rudolf Straeuli ? The camp? Derrick Hougard cut into two by hard hitting Brian Lima at the 2003 World Cup? YES, I still remember and so should the springboks and the nation. Four years later we were crowned world champions. It was the the desire, dream, and vision of 15 men and a nation behind them.

So we cannot forget where we have come from as we step onto the field on Saturday. Lets hope PDV continues the DREAM, the VISION and the DESIRE!!!!!Good luck to the boys this year.....

You couldnt have siad it any better. But to comment on Kamp Staldraat (Rudolf's specialty), i think all He tried to show was that he got all the powers to make a grown man like Sephaka run around like a head-less chicken..naked. I hear Schalla gave Krige a punch that Mohamed Ali wud have pondered for. Imagine another Kamp, with guys like aboBeast fighting JP.....
